International Cooking Festival
report

On November 30th we held an international cooking festival.

This event took place after school and it is carried out every year.

We asked all our international exchange students to teach our students how to prepare a dish from their country.

This year we had four exchange students volunteer to do this activity. They were from Mexico, Romania, Italy, and Australia. The cuisines chosen were tacos, marbled pound cake, tiramisu, and hot cheese and ham sandwiches (croque-monsieur).

The foreign students taught our students how to prepare each dish in a mixture of English and Japanese. It was a lot of fun and all the students were able to get a better understanding of each exchange student’s country through their cuisine.
