Day 3 and Day 4

Special Chat Room (June 19)

Aoyama Gakuin University chat leaders from various countries led students in English discussions focusing on the topic of Food Waste, giving students the chance to learn about and exchange opinions on issues such as the amount of food wasted in Japan and ways to prevent this loss.

NO Food Waste Game (June 19)

This was organized and led by the Aoyama Second Chance (ASC) group. ASC members led other students through a thought-provoking card game highlighting the complexities surrounding food waste. This event also served as a springboard for a food collection campaign organized by ASC within the school, with the food collected being donated to Second Harvest Japan’s food bank in July.

Volunteer Club Session (June 20)

The Volunteer Club helps financially support Asia Christian Education Fund (ACEF) projects in Bangladesh through selling goods on occasions such as the School Festival. Club members used presentations and a quiz to help the 200 students who participated learn more about issues in Bangladesh.
