Orientation sessions for exchange programs at Aoyama Gakuin University
On the 9th of January, the Orientation sessions for exchange programs at Aoyama Gakuin Univesity were held in multi-purpose hall in our high school.
This event, annually held in corporation with International Center of the university, is intended to supply students with opportunities to consider their future global careers, and attracted more than 100 participants this year.
It consisted of two parts. In the first half, the system of exchange programs was briefly explained, and one college
student who returned from the US last summer came to describe his academic life in California. In the second part, an instructor was invited from the British Council to demonstrate the speaking section of IELTS, which is often used to gauge applicants’ English abilities. All participants actively engaged in the activities through pair-work.
